Job Description

We’re looking for a Manager of Account Management at Fleetio! In this role, you’ll develop and execute a strategic vision aimed at maximizing the value our customers receive from our products and services.

Account Management is a sales function at Fleetio and you’ll report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. You will build and lead a team that will work side by side with Customer Experience to lead customers to expansion and predictable renewal outcomes.

What you'll be doing
  • Partner with the CRO to create and drive the revenue growth strategy for existing accounts.
  • Provide coaching amp; development to an existing team of Account Managers.
  • Attract and hire top talent to grow the team heading into 2024.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Experience team to create amp; refine the ways in which we work together to deliver customer value.
  • Develop a customer engagement motion that creates the right touch points (such as business reviews) leading to a positive renewal outcome.
  • Implement an outbound prospecting motion that leads to off-cycle expansion opportunities.
  • Contribute thought leadership amp; insight to the wider Sales Leadership team.
  • Work closely with Business Operations, Marketing, Product Management to develop both growth amp; risk mitigation strategies.
  • Be a steward of Fleetio’s culture and deliver a positive impact to the company amp; its people.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in a quota carrying sales role, part or all of which was focused on account management.
  • 2+ years of leadership or team lead experience.
  • Track record of performance in multiple customer segments, SMB up to Enterprise.
  • A track record of operational excellence and process rigor.
  • Exposure to coaching methodologies and techniques to drive performance amp; growth.
  • Desire to build, combined with scrappiness and agility needed to stand up a new function.
  • Ability to travel for customer engagements or to Fleetio HQ for meetings.
  • Level up if you know a thing or two about cars and engines.
