Workbox is seeking a full-time Community Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of their community and space. They will incorporate online tools and in-person customer service to cultivate relationships that ultimately build Workbox’s brand.
Daily tasks may be varied but the overall goal is to provide support to our member companies and ensure the space is running efficiently. This digitally savvy employee is responsible for maintaining a vibrant sense of community, handling guest bookings and check-ins, and creating engaging member events. This role is perfect for someone who wants to take responsibility, gain experience managing a co-working space, and work with a growing team to make an impact in the entrepreneurial industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Internal Communication amp; Member Relations
- Prioritize the Workbox mission of Member Success by communicating in a welcoming, helpful, clear, and informative manner
- Onboard new members to Workbox, providing access to the building and our various member platforms
- Provide tours of the space to new members to acquaint them with Workbox’s facilities, amenities, and technologies
- Communicate regularly with members to inform them of upcoming events, building repairs, holidays, etc.
- Manage member company records and conference room bookings in OfficeRnD
2. Community Events
- Develop and implement creative, social, and fun events while managing expenses and tracking participation
- Utilize Canva to create digital and printable content to encourage member engagement
- Assist the Director of Member Services in driving engagement to our monthly Business Services Events
4. Space Management amp; Administration
- Ensure the space is clean and tidy, including meeting rooms, kitchen, reception area, and common spaces
- Manage mail and deliveries for members
- Uphold all Workbox standards to meet regular facility audit requirements
- Maintain inventory of amenities, cleaning supplies, and office supplies
- Take ownership of your space while collaborating frequently with all team members
6. External Communication
- Assist Sales team in converting prospective members to members or Drop-In Users
- Provide tours to any walk-in guests, consistently promoting the value of Workbox
- Manage all Day Pass and external conference room bookings, charging fees, tracking visits, and providing a pleasant guest experience
- Engage with local businesses to create member perks and partnerships
- Occasionally attend after-hour events to build the Workbox brand
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Strong background in customer service and communication
- Experience in office administration (e.g. billing, phone, management platforms)
- Comfort with changing priorities and ambiguity
- Extraordinary organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in troubleshooting technologies
- Consistent ability to meet deadlines and get things done
- Eagerness to learn new things, provide feedback, and grow with Workbox
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with startups, entrepreneurs, and/or a rapidly growing team
- Experience with Canva, Outlook, and Slack
- People-management experience

Annual Salary:
$45,000 - 55,000
