RP is seeking a Risk, Quality Assurance/Compliance and Audit Analyst to support a key RP project.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform risk and quality assurance compliance audits, investigative audits, and daily operational support functions to support the enforcement of penalties for misrepresentations made under the law
  • Perform audits of VOSB and SDVOSB firms either currently listed in the SBA databased or applicants are compliant
  • Independently use judgement in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines, references and procedures to make recommendations for borderline and edge cases
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for OIG referral and/or non-site examination
  • Process complex applications (inclusive of intricately structured business and tax structures), applying expert knowledge in business structures and applicable regulations and statutes
  • Escalating novel areas of regulatory interpretation to the Agency with sufficient explanation such that the Agency can provide resolution and direction
  • Complete all OHS required complex case steps including processing status pretests and appeal cases; monitor and reply to OHA inbox, maintain due dates for correspondence and advise program leadership of required submission deadlines
  • Review all associated case artifacts for Verification Appeals, Decertification appeals, and if necessary, develop responses that can be quickly executed upon
  • Excellent attention to detail to perform accurate document reviews
  • Planning, tracking, and reporting on outputs and program deliverables
  • Watch for and manage risks and issues, take corrective action to rectify

Requirements

Experience:

  • Associates’ degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in loan underwriting or equivalent analytical work
  • Experience with maintaining project documentation, reviewing forms for accuracy, and spotlighting inaccuracies that should be rectified
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office applications
