About the Role
The main purpose of this role is to provide financial and strategic business partnership to the leadership team to help grow the business, enhance and develop business opportunities while ensuring the financial results are delivered with accuracy and that adequate Governance and controls are in place within accounting and payroll.

- Leads all financial planning and analysis (FPamp;A), including forecasting, budgeting amp; cashflow management to build and manage the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast/ budget.
- Working closely with our parent company, establish, implement, and improve financial reporting systems, processes, and internal controls in order to manage compliance risk and ensure good governance
- Present financial reports to executives, board members, investors, and other key stakeholders. Creating and maintaining budgets amp; tracking company and operational metrics.
- Ability to form, lead, and develop a high-performing team. Be a role model and maintain a proactive finance function.
- Oversee and review accounting tasks, including month-end reports, payroll, tax, statutory accounts, and compliance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations verbally and in writing. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Responsible for external stakeholder management for tax, statutory amp; auditing services. Ensure proper compliance with all regulations
Qualifications amp; Skills
- Experience with a fast-paced, always-on environment
- Experience driving transformation and efficiencies in controls and accounting systems
- International accounting experience required to cover both UK and US (e.g. US GAAP, SOX, UK GAAP)
- Qualified with 7-10 years PQE as a minimum (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong leadership skills
- A team player who is motivated to succeed as a team and independently
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to use own initiative and work under pressure
- Intermediate/advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Workspace software suite, specifically Excel and Google Sheets.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate and communicate effectively with relevant internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- High level of technical acumen and proficiency to learn and utilize new software and technologies quickly to continuously evolve and improve our tech-driven advantage
- High level of analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong drive to investigate, analyze, and resolve simple and complex problems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet conflicting deadlines with minimal direct supervision
- Highly proficient with utilizing several tools to enable real-time collaboration with a globally distributed workforce such as Miro, Monday, Salesforce, Google Meet, Zoom, Slack, etc

- Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions
Work Environment
This job operates in a hybrid remote/professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment to complete daily responsibilities and duties. If working in a remote office environment, a clean, designated workspace must be kept in a safe condition, free from hazards to both the employee and the equipment. Remote office positions also require reliable, high-speed internet.
