Job Description

WWC Global is seeking a dynamic, people focused, full-time HR Business Partner I to join our growing People team. At WWC Global, the HR Business Partner I will be the liaison between our People division, employees, and management to ensure overall goals and objectives are met, furthering our ability to put good government into practice.

This position directly supports the Lead HR Business Partner. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the development and execution of HR procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for programs to both headquarters and client-facing employees.
  • Participating in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
  • Suggesting new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience.
  • Ensuring legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and updating policies and/or procedures as required.
  • Work alongside internal stakeholder to promote HR programs to create satisfaction, reinforce our culture, and promote a conflict-free workplace.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leave and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Alongside the Lead HR Business Partner, develop, manage, and communicate DEIA programs and initiatives.
  • Manage PCC’s leave of absence programs.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, doing root causes analysis, and organizing team building activities.
  • Assist Lead HR Business Partner with projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct Stay and Exit interviews.
  • Coach management through performance improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with Lead HR Business Partner to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Expected salary range: $62,500 - 75,000.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:

Basic Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
  • 3+ years of proven HR experience, preferably as an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or HR Business Partner.
