Do you have experience of successfully delivering RWE projects? Do you enjoy building and maintaining client relationships? Are you looking to join a company offering excellent career prospects? Costello Medical are growing quickly through demand from both new and existing clients and are therefore looking for a candidate with prior experience in real-world evidence studies who enjoys content delivery, as well as project and client management, to join us as a Senior Epidemiologist.
You will work alongside members of the RWE team to ensure that deliverables are completed to an exceptionally high standard in line with agreed timelines. This involves providing strategic advice to clients at project initiation, supervision of the project team and regular interaction with clients. Senior Epidemiologists are central to the quality control of a project, involving the review of colleagues’ work and the provision of constructive feedback.
You will also play a key role in contributing to business development by developing and maintaining excellent client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand the scope of our RWE services, and proactively winning work with companies outside our existing client base.
Costello Medical is structured into divisional teams focusing on Medical Communications, Value and Access and Evidence Development. This role sits in the Real-World Evidence division, which is becoming increasingly important for the demonstration of clinical and economic value of pharmaceuticals and medical technologies.
Our preference is for the Senior Epidemiologist to work our standard working week of 40 hours, Monday to Friday; however, we can consider applicants looking to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Our RWE team contribute to the design, execution and subsequent reporting of prospective, retrospective or cross-sectional real-world studies. They develop protocols and statistical analysis plans (in collaboration with our Statisticians, clients and external experts), acquire and analyse data, and communicate the methodologies and results in both written and oral formats. Studies include data from patient registries, claims databases, electronic health records, prospective studies or any other source of real-world data, and involve a wide range of research questions on burden of disease, clinical effectiveness or economic topics, among others. Full details of the services we offer in the Real-World Evidence division can be found here.
As one of our most recently established divisions, this is an exciting time to join our growing RWE team; you will play a key role in shaping the future of Costello Medical’s RWE service offering in the US by delivering high-quality real-world studies that can make a meaningful impact in a wide range of disease areas.
