FullStack Developer (Java amp; JavaScript)

3-5 years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer or in a similar role.

Node is seeking a mid-level or Senior Fullstack Developer proficient in both Java and JavaScript to be a part of our growing team. The successful candidate should have a solid foundation in both frontend and backend development, possess experience in Agile methodologies, and be eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, including
Optional skills in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).
Requirements
Mandatory Skills:
1. Java:
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with popular Java frameworks like Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Familiarity with Java-based tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Knowledge of Java-related optimization and debugging techniques.
2. JavaScript:
- Hands-on experience with at least one JavaScript framework/library (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
3. Databases:
- Good knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Basic understanding of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
4. Version Control:
- Proficiency with git, understanding of branching, merging, and commit strategies.
5. Agile Methodologies:
- Proven experience working in Agile teams.
- Familiarity with Agile tools and practices (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, user stories, stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
Optional (But Appreciated) Skills:
1. Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning:
- Interest or experience in implementing AI/ML solutions, and understanding of various machine learning algorithms.
- Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, tools, and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Capacity to integrate AI/ML functionalities into existing applications.
2. Containerization: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
3. Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services related to application deployment and scaling.
4. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Knowledge of Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI, or similar tools.
5. Testing: Experience with unit testing tools/frameworks like JUnit for Java and Jest or Mocha for JavaScript. Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks like Selenium or Cypress.
6. Web Security: Understanding of secure coding practices and familiarity with tools and techniques to identify security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
