ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare tax returns and venture statements for assigned companies (mostly partnership/LLC entities, including tiered structures)
- Identify potential tax issues, determine appropriate tax treatment through research, and collaborate with tax manager
- Assist tax manager with gathering information and calculating quarterly tax estimates
- Prepare schedules and tax journal entries for depreciation, amortization, and applicable transactions (partnership contributions, like-kind exchanges, sales, purchases, lot line adjustments, etc.)
- Prepare cost segregation analysis for completed construction jobs for assigned companies
- Prepare financial statements for assigned companies and individuals
- Special projects as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field- CPA certification preferred
- Proven experience in tax preparation and accounting- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using tax, accounting, fixed asset, and Microsoft Office Suite software
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
