We are looking for a Director of Product Management, Analytics that will be responsible for supporting the technical direction, strategy, overall priorities, design, and development of our proprietary ViewIQ platform with a specific focus on analytics and media buying. The Director of Product Management, Analytics will own the product roadmap coordinating with engineering, data analytics/science team members and project leads to ensure timely delivery of products and features.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on role in defining, vetting, and developing new products, updating our existing products, and conducting research on things like user experience and market trends.
  • Participate in the growth and development of the Product Management department through hiring, management and mentorship.
  • Manage a team of product managers, set goals, assign tasks, and ensure the timely delivery of projects
  • Mentor new hires and team members to develop their skills and drive their professional growth
  • Develop and implement product strategies consistent with company vision and revenue goals
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends, and use this knowledge to inform product development.
  • Establish and track expected and actual ROI for Product Release candidates
  • Collect and analyze feedback from Users (customers, stakeholders and other teams) to shape requirements, features and end products
  • Work in collaboration with team leads and executive team members to create product plans and roadmaps.
  • Lead project managers and coordinate cross-functional teams in the development of Product
  • Ensure products and releases are launched correctly, on schedule
  • Deliver ongoing recommendations to expand analytic capabilities, product base and vision
  • Suggest ways to track product use and impact on end users
  • Identifying weaknesses in prototypes pre-release, and driving the necessary changes.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a related field
  • Minimum 9+ years of experience within the advertising or technology industry; or any combination of education and experience which would be equivalent
  • Proven experience working with advertising analytics and media buying platforms, DSPs and/or ad servers.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct management experience. Managing and mentoring product managers of all levels.
  • Agile product management experience
  • Ability to work remotely, managing various time zones within the US.
  • Experience developing product specifications that translate customer requests into engineering requirements
  • Understanding of architectures, databases, and APIs
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including the creation of product-related documentation
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 15% of the year for in-person meetings with internal team members, client meetings, conferences, etc.
