The Brydon Group is a private equity firm that partners with outstanding mid-career executives to acquire business-to-business (B2B), business-to-government (B2G), and healthcare software and services businesses. Brydon’s three founding partners have had multiple successful exits in software, multi-decade experience in large cap private equity (Blackstone, Carlyle) and bulge bracket banking (Goldman, JP Morgan), and extensive public service backgrounds. We closed our $100mm Fund I in February 2023 and have made five acquisitions in 2023.
As the Talent Acquisition Manager at The Brydon Group you will play a pivotal role in driving the talent acquisition and management for the firm. You will work closely with the Managing Partners and portfolio company management to find new platforms, source add-on opportunities, amp; recruit executive teams. This role will be a critical member of the early team, will serve as the talent lead for the firm, and will have ample opportunity for growth.
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to assist with:
- Talent Recruiting for CEO-in-Resident Program:
- Lead the annual Brydon CEO-in-Residence recruiting, application, and onboarding process
- Serve as talent representative for Brydon Group at key industry conferences
- Manage the execution of Brydon annual retreats and quarterly in-person training
- Portfolio Company Recruiting
- Build out the Brydon CXO talent pipeline for portfolio companies
- Support targeted CXO (CFO, COO, CIO) openings with direct proactive outreach amp; when applicable, partnering with targeted recruiters
- Oversee the recruitment and management of Brydon key portfolio consulting partners across variety of categories (GTM, finance, pricing, etc)
- Leadership Development
- Create talent programs for Brydon portfolio companies
- Lead implementation of Brydon Operating System with implementation partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years’ experience in lead talent amp; sourcing roles, whether as talent recruiter or high-volume sales,
- Motivated self-starter with ability to work well in an unstructured environment
- Bonus points for passion and interest in small business, software, and/or private equity
- High degree of integrity
- Dedicated work ethic and commitment to enhancing the team
- Outstanding organization, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Entrepreneurial attitude and desire to work for a dynamic and successful organization
