IMPORTANT DETAILS:

YOUR OBJECTIVE

Ensure stock replenishment from main and satellite warehouses, support shipping and receiving as needed. Document forklift Inspections and make sure equipment is charged at the end of the shift. Training is available!

The following open shifts have a starting rate of $20.00 per hour...

Weekday Shift 2 Tuesday through Friday (4-10 hour shifts) 3:45 pm-2:30 am

Weekend Shift 1 Saturday through Monday (3-12 hour shifts) 5:30 am- 5:30 pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pull stock for replenishment from high bay locations in main and satellite warehouses
  • Locate and confirm products into picking bins
  • Pull, palletize and process key accounts orders
  • Cycle counting
  • Breakdown empty boxes in the zones throughout the shift
  • Make sure all products are transferred and confirmed to locations in real-time
  • Perform end-of-shift housekeeping responsibilities
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Ensure a clean and safe work area
  • Follow all forklift safety guidelines
  • Report ANY equipment issues to the supervisor immediately
  • Document Forklift inspections; and when appropriate, charge forklifts at the end of the shift
  • Obtain Department of Transportation certification and renew annually
  • Pick customer orders when requested to support the shipping department
  • Support Shipping as directed and assist in receiving of trucks/shipments as needed

Requirements

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in a distribution center with powered-industrial vehicles (i.e. Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, Walkie Riders, etc.). We'll train
  • You are willing to operate a company truck (non-CDL)
  • You are able to obtain DOT Med Card
  • You read and write basic English
  • Basic computer skills
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You have a current valid driver's license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, pushing and pulling are continuously required activities of this position. Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting heavy objects up to 30-50 pounds frequently and use a stair ladder for retrieving overstock items required.
