Job Description
Lingo is a user-friendly brand management platform that seamlessly integrates digital asset management and digital brand guidelines into a single, intuitive platform. Developed by Noun Project, we enable teams at renowned companies such as Duolingo, Reddit, Eurorail, and Snap to maintain brand consistency on a large scale through a centralized brand hub.
Our small team of engineers, design, marketing and sales work closely together to make the best product possible. We’re based in Los Angeles, CA, but our team is fully remote and distributed. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time; all candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

In the role of Senior Engineer, you will oversee all aspects of web development. This will involve close collaboration with our design team, as well as both frontend and backend engineers, to translate concepts into functional features on the web. Additionally, you will have the responsibility of guiding and mentoring a frontend engineer to support their skill growth.
We work with fairly large, complex data sets, which creates opportunities for interesting problem-solving to deliver them through high quality, user-friendly interfaces.
Requirements
Technical Qualifications- A strong background with complex React/Redux web apps (5+years preferred)
- A strong understanding of typescript as JS related build systems such as babel.
- Experience maintaining large scale web applications
- Writing tests in a client-side test framework such as Jest.
- Translating mockups and comps into working client-side single-page responsive web applications in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Connecting front-end applications to back-end service with JavaScript and JSON
- Optimizing client-side web applications for speed and performance.
- Experience with agile development and common tools, such as Git.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment
- You are self motivated and excited to work through complex implementation problems
- You are both disciplined and imaginative in their work (we often need some creative solutions)
- You have proficient spelling, grammar, and communication skills.
- Experience with SEO best practice
- Experience with Accessibility best practice
- Experience with SAML or OAuth
- Experience with Node.js

Salary range: $135-$160K
