Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The People amp; Culture Generalist is part of the People Support Team and the glue of the Pamp;C Department. Daily activities will come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and surprises; but one thing you can count on is an action packed, bursting at the seam day. EVERY DAY! In this position, you’ll get to interact with employees at all locations, improving the employee experience by assisting in various aspects of human resources functions.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Completes on-boarding of new employees through live or virtual orientation sessions. Ensures new hires are well prepared for success in their role
  • Provides training and guidance to employees regarding employment policies amp; procedures
  • Promotes companywide employee programs, initiatives, and events
  • Plans and executes large or multi-site events. Serves as FFP ESG (Social) Committee chair
  • Handles general personnel concerns as appropriate or assigned
  • Manages overall programs, inventory, and vendor relationships for FFP swag, and Pamp;C dept. supplies, etc.
  • Facilitates exit interviews, committee meetings, and employee trainings
  • Manages immigration and VISA applications, tracking, and filing for Corporate employees
  • Assists in organizing training plans and programs
  • Assists in performance evaluation programs and maintains applicable records
  • Maintains knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws in applicable locations
  • Maintains department-required records and files
  • May assist with interview scheduling, candidate reviews and interviews, job offers, and pre-employment processes
  • Assists and/or manages other projects as assigned

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR generalist experience is required. In the Manufacturing Industry highly preferred
  • PHR, SHRM-CP or other HR certification required or must be obtained within the first year of employment
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in high-growth/frequent acquisition environment. Employee integration experience highly desired
  • Knowledge of federal and FL state employment laws required. Additional states’ laws highly desired
  • Highly proficient use of HR software and platforms, and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
