Kollabio, a growing boutique digital startup that provides Digital Transformation solutions and services to public and private sector organizations, is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support the manual and automated testing/validation of digital solutions built for various Federal agencies.
As a QA Analyst, You will closely collaborate with product owners, designers and developers in an Agile setting, to support testing of web and mobile based digital applications across Federal and Commercial customers. Success requires a natural curiosity, ability to define and decompose problems, and a strong background in framing test cases using Gherkin. This is a mid-level position that provides ample opportunity to grow while coaching and mentoring other members of a growing team.

Responsibilities
- Create Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts to support manual quality assurance testing of web and mobile applications.
- Analyze User Stories and prepare test cases in Gherkin format.
- Work closely with Product Owner/Business Analyst, User Experience Designer, Technical Lead and Developers to support backlog refinement.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies within a 2-week Sprint cycle.
- Execute test cases and record test results in Atlassian Jira. Analyze and verify test results and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Proactively communicate with team members to clarify requirements and resolve any issues.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing as required.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in release and deployment planning, ensuring all necessary testing is completed prior to launch.
- Write SQL statements to extract Data and verify the output Data of the reports.
- Influence strategic roadmaps from a Quality Engineering standpoint and manage tactical bi-weekly release operations

- 3 5 + years of experience as a QA Analyst, preferably in a Web application development environment and in an Agile setting.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance best practices.
- Experience writing user stories and developing test cases.
- Experience using Miro or other similar flow-charting tools.
- Full Software Development Lifecycle experience.
- Experience with software QA practices including, conducting functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience participating in Facilitated Workshops for requirements analysis.
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management, including communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
- A strong intellectual curiosity to continually challenge what exists and explore what should be changed to best meet evolving business and market.
Desired Skills amp; Qualifications:
- Experience working with Jira for storing user stories and bug tracking
- Experience working in a management consulting or technology consulting firm especially within digital or interactive space.
- Agile Methodology experience and understanding.
