About our District
Everett’s Schools are Everett’s Pride. Everett Public Schools (EPS) is located in Everett, Massachusetts directly north of Boston, bordering the neighborhood of Charlestown. The district is comprised of ten schools, employs approximately 550 teachers, and enrolls nearly 7,400 students in PreK through grade 12. The Everett community is full of pride, with a long rich history, and a place where generations have chosen to live and raise their children. The district boasts about the long-established sports programs and amazing marching band from Everett High School. Everett embraces its longstanding diversity as a community, with currently nearly 70% of the students speaking more than one language and able to say that English is not their first language. Over the last three years, the district has invested in one-to-one technology for all students, expanded summer school and after-school enrichment programs, and has empowered students to use their voices to improve the culture and inclusivity in their schools. The district embraces the following four core values: Resilience, Innovation, Self-Awareness, and Empowerment.

The Superintendent must be able to unify, bring stability, and build trust by fostering relationships and collaborating in a solutions-oriented manner.
