YouthBuild USA, located in Roxbury, MA, is the nonprofit support center for YouthBuild programs. It provides technical assistance, innovative program enhancements, quality assurance systems, and advocacy to help ensure that every YouthBuild program can create impact in its community.
AmeriCorps is a program of the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), an independent federal agency whose mission is to improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic engagement through service and volunteering. YouthBuild USA is a recipient of an annual $10.9 million AmeriCorps National Direct grant which brings support to over 60 YouthBuild programs and 2,500 YouthBuild students enrolled as AmeriCorps members providing direct service through the construction of low-income affordable housing. YouthBuild students enrolled in an AmeriCorps position receive additional and increased service and skill development opportunities by their program, deepening the impact within the community and making service a more central part of their YouthBuild experience. In addition, upon successful completion of their service, AmeriCorps members receive a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award that can be used towards post-secondary and career education costs.

Job Summary
The AmeriCorps Portfolio Manager Position is a full-time position, reporting to the Director of AmeriCorps Programs. This position works within a team of Portfolio Managers and Financial Grant Managers responsible for offering cohesive and consistent support to all YouthBuild AmeriCorps sub-grantees. The main responsibilities of the AmeriCorps Portfolio Manager are to train, monitor, and support a portfolio of 15-22 YouthBuild AmeriCorps programs, that are sub-grantees of YouthBuild USA, in three general areas:
