Sun Valley Spine and Orthopedic is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing team. As a CMA, you will be an integral part of our healthcare practice, providing exceptional patient care and assistance to our medical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical professionals with patient examinations and procedures
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
• Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as directed by medical professionals
• Assist with patient education and follow-up care instructions
• Manage patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals as needed

Requirements

• Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
• Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting preferred
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and medical software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
• Fluent in English and Spanish
