Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Environmental Services firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of an Environmental Project Manager in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
- This full-time position within our Environmental group will manage site investigation/remediation projects with oversight from senior managers and technical experts
- Managing scope, schedule, and budget for mid to large-sized investigation/remediation projects
- Building strong client relationships
- Client and regulatory correspondence
- Technical report writing and review
- Health and safety stewardship, including local field visits
- Analyzes and applies solutions to atypical and/or semi-complex and challenging issues within area of expertise
- Preparing cost estimates and proposals
- Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders
Requirements
- Candidates must have 5-10+ years of environmental consulting or related experience
- Qualified candidates must also have/be:
- Strong analytical, organizational, client management, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations
- Previous experience with environmental site investigations and remediation (including under the Illinois Site Remediation Program)
- This position requires driving on a regular basis
- Passing a motor vehicle record background check and maintaining a valid driver's license and good driving record is required
- Degree / Certifications
- B.S. or M.S. degree in environmental science, geology, or related engineering or physical science required
