Solution Consultant

We are looking for a Solution Consultant to join the Solution Services team in the US.

In this role, you will be deployed throughout pre-sales, implementation and BAU across high value projects, with the aim of becoming a trusted legal technology advisor and driving implementations across Opus 2’s solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Lead client implementation projects for mission critical solutions in LegalTech, through the full Analysis, Design, Configuration and Go-Live workstreams.
• Produce detailed, robust and considered Specifications documents including analysis and design around:
  • existing solutions, business workflows by persona
  • document and data structures
  • client pain points
  • functional and non-functional requirements
  • product gap analysis
  • data architecture design
  • UX / UI design
  • migration strategies
  • integration requirements
• Configure solutions in-line with agreed specification documents using Opus 2’s core platform and development extensions.
• Run unit testing throughout implementation ensuring the solution works as designed and work closely with clients through UAT to triage and remediate issues.
• Manage scope and change requests throughout implementation ensuring quality, cost and timelines are met.
• Support the Business Development team through pre-sales providing product, implementation, subject matter and technical expertise.
• Assist the Training team provide tailored training sessions to all user personas across the Opus 2 solution portfolio.
• Work closely with the Training and Documentation team, and the Marketing team to develop key solution content such as training materials, videos, explainers, blog posts, data sheets and other content to engage with clients.
• Engage with both Product and Development teams around continuous improvement to the current and future roadmap.
• Support the Account Management team to drive adoption and engagement through various client success activities.
• Become a trusted advisor to our clients.

Requirements

What we're looking for in you

• You are a charismatic, people-person that has the ability to talk to anyone, including senior executives, and you are comfortable working in an ever-changing fast-paced environment.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Solution Consultant, Solution / Technical Architect, Implementation Consultant or equivalent in a B2B software technology and/or services space.
• Previous work experience within LegalTech is advantageous.
• Previous work experience with programming scripts is advantageous.
• Proven track record of business analysis, specification documents and technical architecture to a high standard.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data migration and integrating systems is critical.
• Proven ability to listen and analyse customer needs and engage with customers in a consultative manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are critical to this role.
• Patient demeanor and ability to hand-hold non-tech savvy customers with tact and diplomacy.
• Impeccable attention to detail and ability to learn quickly, deliver high-quality results and coordinate work across multiple teams.
• Organized, with excellent time management skills.
• Proactive, flexible and has a can-do attitude.
• Strong team player but also able to work well independently and autonomously.
• Computer science or equivalent degree.
