ProVal Technologies is a consulting firm for Managed IT Service providers, helping them navigate and manage their suite of technology products to support end customers. Our team helps MSP's leverage best practices and efficiencies across their tools and technologies, to make MSP's more efficient and profitable. ProVal also takes on operational capabilities in managing non-customer-facing work for MSP's so they can focus their teams on building customer relationships.
As an MSP Backups amp; DR Consultant / Expert on the ProVal team, you will be working with our MSP partners to provide professional support to design, implement, monitor and manage backups for our MSP partners.
Job details
- Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually
- Job Type: Full-time, Remote
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate prospect needs for their backup environments, participating in sales calls and supporting the sales team by explaining our services (You are not responsible to make a sale or make sales calls for this
- Be the trusted advisor for our MSP partners as it relates to the management of their backups
- On-board new partners following the ProVal process
- Regularly meet with partners on monthly calls to review critical issues
- Maintain and improve their backup infrastructure and allow them to scale
- Communicate with associated vendors for support and assistance
- Mentor other team members in the US and India NOC around backup technologies and processes
Requirements
- Currently or previously worked for an MSP (within the last 2 years)
- 10+ years in the technology space either with MSP or Internal IT
- Recent hands-on experience with MSP backup tools like Veeam, Datto, StorageCraft, Acronis, and others
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to MSP partners
- Team player who is detail oriented and is eager to grow and develop their skills
