Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic professional to lead our Carrier sales efforts in North America. Reporting to the EVP Americas, this position is a crucial part of our growth strategy in the region.

Position Overview: The Senior Vice President of Sales for Carrier and Enterprise in North America will be a pivotal driver of Sinch's success in the region. You will be responsible for setting the strategy, leading a high-performance sales team, and achieving revenue and GP targets. This role demands a deep understanding of the Carrier markets, strong leadership, and a results-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership:

  • Provide visionary leadership to the Carrier sales teams in North America.
  • Establish and communicate clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for the teams.
  • Lead by example with a commitment to the company’s values and mission
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with other senior leaders to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.

2. Sales Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the EVP Americas and other key stakeholders to develop and execute the sales strategy for the Carrier markets.
  • Drive revenue and GP growth through the acquisition of new clients and expansion of existing accounts through Acquisition, Upsell and Cross Sell Motions
  • Partner with the Customer Success leaders on overall customer health and satisfaction.

3. Team Building and Development:

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales organization.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Support the implementation of performance management systems, including setting clear goals and conducting regular performance reviews across the organization
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and skill development to keep the team at the forefront of industry best practices.
  • Ensure sales teams have the necessary tools and resources to stay well-informed and responsive to market changes.

4. Market Understanding:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, and use this knowledge to guide sales strategies.
  • Work closely with the product and marketing teams to tailor solutions to market needs.

5. Client Relationships:

  • Build and maintain key relationships with strategic clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business needs and how Sinch can address them.
  • Serve as an escalation point for critical customer issues, working to resolve them effectively.

6. Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to the executive team.
  • Implement and use CRM tools to manage and analyze sales data.

7. Revenue Growth:

  • Meet and exceed revenue targets for the Carrier markets in North America.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven leadership experience in Carrier sales, ideally in the cloud communication or telecommunications industry.
  • A track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
