Hire Resolve has a client based in Philly that is actively seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the tax compliance amp; planning function. This includes overseeing the preparation and review of all federal, state, and local tax returns and ensuring timely amp; accurate filing. You will also provide strategic tax planning advice and work closely with various departments to minimize tax liability while remaining compliant with tax laws amp; regulations. This role requires a highly analytical and proactive with exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
- Manage multiple tax engagements and clients to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, identifying areas for process improvement and providing guidance on tax-related matters
- Manage and review the work product of team members, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed
- Supervise and mentor team members, encouraging growth and development
- Research and consult on complex tax issues, providing recommendations and solutions to clients
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable regulations and laws
- Participate in business development initiatives, cultivating relationships with potential and existing clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Active CPA license preferred or EA
- 4+ years of experience in tax management, planning in accounting firms.
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership and management experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with software for Tax
