Hire Resolve's client is currently recruiting for a skilled Tax Consultant to join their team in beautiful Mesa AZ. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our tax department, assisting clients with tax compliance, planning, and advisory services. Responsibilities
- Manage assigned client engagements and perform detailed reviews of federal, state, and local income tax returns for tax compliance
- Work closely with clients and identify tax planning opportunities
- Conduct tax research and interact with taxing authorities on behalf of clients
- Train and mentor junior staff in tax accounting principles and best practices
- Prepare financial statements, including disclosures, supporting schedules, and tax workpapers
- Assist in developing and implementing tax planning strategies for clients
- Participate in firm-wide initiatives and contribute to business development efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in tax accounting at a CPA firm
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- CPA or CPA Candidate

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $85,000 - $100,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
