The Role

We are looking for a User Experience Designer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team and work on our analytics offering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and creating user experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and easy to use, with a focus on data visualization. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that the user interface is visually appealing, functional, and meets the needs of our customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in design or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in user experience design, with a focus on data visualization.
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates experience designing user interfaces for analytics products with a focus on data visualization, from conception until launch and beyond.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into easy user flows
  • Experience working with development teams to implement user interfaces,.collaborating with product managers, technical leads, customers, and other stakeholders to introduce, iterate, and clarify requirements
  • Experience creating user stories, personas, and storyboards
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices, with a focus on data visualization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Responsibilities/Duties-

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business objectives.
  • Design and create user interfaces, wireframes, and prototypes that meet user needs and business objectives, with a focus on data visualization.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
  • Work with developers to ensure that the user interface is implemented correctly.
  • Create design guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across the product, with a focus on data visualization.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in user experience design and data visualization..

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with job posting disclosure requirements.

Pay range: $80,000 - $100,000. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operations business needs.

Depending on the position, compensation may also include commission, bonuses, etc. Potential for bonuses is based on company performance and potential for merit increases is based on performance.
