Job Summary
We are seeking a Video Specialist to join our team and assist in the production of high-quality video content for real estate marketing. The ideal candidate should have a passion for videography, proficiency in video editing software, and a keen eye for detail. This role will support the lead videographer and collaborate with internal teams to create compelling videos that showcase properties and drive engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Videography:
- Capture professional video footage of residential and commercial properties and branded marketing content.
- Operate cameras, drones, stabilizers, and other equipment to ensure high-quality shots.
- Set up lighting, audio, and staging as needed for video shoots.
- Follow creative direction and shot lists to capture property features effectively.
- Video Editing:
- Edit raw video footage to create polished and engaging real estate videos.
- Incorporate transitions, music, voiceovers, and graphics to enhance the video content.
- Ensure video content aligns with the brand's style and messaging.
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
- Post-Production:
- Organize and manage video files, maintaining an organized library.
- Backup and archive video footage for future use.
- Export videos in various formats for different platforms and screen sizes.
- Quality Control:
- Review videos for errors, glitches, or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure content adheres to IDFPR Regulations, Fair Housing, and Baird amp; Warner brand guidelines.
- Proofread captions, titles, and descriptions to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the lead videographer, marketing team, and real estate agents to understand project goals and requirements.
- Communicate effectively to ensure project timelines are met.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Assist in maintaining and organizing videography equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in videography or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Part 107 drone license needed
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro).
- Basic knowledge of videography equipment and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in video editing.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with real estate videography trends and best practices (preferred but not required).
- Car/reliable transportation to attend field work for video shoots across the Chicagoland area.
