Summary:
As the Director of Student Success at ATS Institute of Technology, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall student success. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a supportive and enriching environment where our students not only meet, but exceed their educational, personal, and career goals. This position will require being able to address students' needs and understanding how to retain students with guidance regarding their academics, social and personal issues. This position will report and work directly under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
Duties amp; Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Director of Student Success is responsible for direction and management of student success services at the campus.
- Works closely with the Director of Nursing in developing and maintaining policies that support student success.
- Implement proactive retention strategies to identify and address factors impacting student retention, working collaboratively with the Director of Nursing.
- Overseeing disciplinary procedures and acting as a liaison between the students, faculty, and staff.
- Providing guidance to students regarding academics, social issues, and personal problems.
- Work to foster a motivating culture where students feel like they belong, have a sense of purpose and relevance, and believe that mistakes are opportunities to learn and grow (Growth Mindset).
- Utilize data analytics to assess student success metrics and implement data-driven interventions to improve retention rates.
- Maintaining records on each student’s academic progress and discipline history, updating files as needed
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Education: Master Degree in education, psychology, or sociology or higher
- Experience:3+ years related experience in a higher education environment
- PreferredBackground: Experience working with a diverse student body
Skills, Knowledge, amp; Abilities:
- Broad knowledge of college level services, including registration, retention best practices and an understanding of current trends and issues in higher education including the value of and barriers to a college education.
- Ability to exercise professional judgment relating to unusual circumstances.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team and assume responsibility for problem-solving.
