This highly motivated individual will be responsible forcompleting month-end tasks associated with closing the financial results,financial analytics, reconciliations, and assisting with the financial audits.The position will provide exposure to many aspects of Cision through reporting and analysis of actual results. The primary responsibilities of this position include:Responsibilities
- Collaborate withinternaland externalteams such asinternational accounting teams,FPamp;A, legal, external consultantsin relation toflux analysis and providingsupport asnecessary
- Ensure that audit schedules are prepared and proactively respond to auditor questions and resolve audit issues.
- Preparebalance sheet reconciliationson a monthly basis andtimelyaddress any questions from the reviewer andthemanagement
- Prepareentries related tobank activities,prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, payroll accounting, etc.on a monthly basiswithin theclose timeline.
- Assist with purchase accountingadjustmentsand opening balance sheet tie-out for the acquired companies.
- Assist with footnote tie-out for quarter-end and year-end financials prepared in accordance with US GAAP andIFRS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At leasttwo to fouryearsof related accounting experience. Big 4 experience preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles. CPA or CPA-candidate preferred.
- Understanding of foreign currency impact on financial reporting preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of NetSuite a plus.
- Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal,analyticaland problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan effectively, work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. High degree of initiative.
