Job Description

Position Summary

The Parts Driver is responsible for facilitating the pick up and return of parts between the company and it's vendors, as well as assisting in maintaining the facility and it's inventory. This position is collaborative, internally and externally facing, and requires a high level of communication skills and organizational skills.

Performance Objectives

  • To accurately and quickly pick up parts and deliver to shop to facilitate service orders
  • Accurately deliver cores and returns to vendors while verifying against return slips
  • Well stocked oil carts and oil lab
  • Well maintained and clean facility

Requirements

Capabilities and Key Competencies

  • Accurately pick up and verify parts per invoice and deliver to shop
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions in the moment
  • Industry knowledge of vendors, i.e. knowledge on vendor locations
  • Ability to prioritize vendor runs
  • Willingness to work as a team
  • Willingness to learn types of equipment
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members in a positive manner
  • Ability to maintain a positive and constructive attitude
  • Ability to be a timely and dependable member of EEI's team
  • Insurable driving record
  • Ability to assess needs of oil lab and stocking carts in shop

Education amp; Experience

  • High school diploma/GED

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds multiple times per day.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment as needed.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time in a vehicle.
