Job Description

Position Summary

The Dispatch Service Advisor is responsible for dispatching field technicians to service calls and planned maintenance, accurately invoicing completed work, and estimating additional repairs needed. The Dispatch Service Advisor plays a crucial role: aligning excellent customer service and dispatch abilities with our customer’s need to deliver excellence safely. This position is highly collaborative, internally and externally facing, and requires a high level of customer service and communication skills.

Requirements

Capabilities and Key Competencies

  • Ability to read and comprehend technician service order write ups.
  • Ability to transfer basic understanding and knowledge about mechanical systems between different types of equipment.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to thoroughly document customer concerns and service order updates.
  • Ability to effectively utilize company computer, email, and IP phone system.
  • Ability to take rotating on call shift (phone only) for emergency dispatch of established customers.

Education amp; Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift minimum of 10 pounds occasionally.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment as required.
  • Sit for multiple hours at a time.
