Job Description
UWorld is looking for experienced Chartered Financial Analysts to develop instructional videos for individuals studying for the CFA Exams. This is an independent contractor position, where you will work with a team to create video content that accompanies UWorld’s educational materials.
This part-time opportunity will allow industry professionals and educators to partner with some of the brightest minds in education and become a part of UWorld’s success story. Minimum education required:
- Undergraduate/Graduate GPA of 3.6 or higher preferred (Master of Finance or MBA preferred)
Minimum experience required:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an investment or academic setting
- Prior writing experience (preferably financial writing)
- CFA Charter
Required skills:
- Strong understanding of the CFA curriculum
- Passion for education and learning
- Ability to communicate difficult concepts clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats
- Ability to think strategically and analytically and transform conceptual ideas into a visually appealing product
- Proven history of working independently while operating within a team environment
- Ability to provide, receive, and respond to feedback positively
- Ability to adapt quickly, brainstorm, and collaborate in a team setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products
Job responsibilities:
Reports directly to the Director of CFA Education for the creation of CFA instructional videos.
- Write cohesive scripts for instructional videos from provided slides
- Record preliminary video recordings in Dallas office
- Receive and apply constructive feedback on lecture videos
- Work with video production team to deliver a finished product
- Collaborate with management to ensure project deadlines are met
