Job Description

The Account Executive/Inside Sales Rep role would be a key member of our Revenue team, responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and closing both leads. An average day will be a mix of client-facing demos of our Shopify subscription app, responding to prospective clients on email, phone and chat, and researching and reaching out to prospective clients. Responsibilities

  • Meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Timely response to inbound leads via email, phone and chat
  • Qualifying leads by understanding and consulting with them on their ecommerce business model
  • Conducting effective sales presentations and demonstrations of Smartrr’s application
  • Research up-and-coming direct-to-consumer brands that might benefit from Smartrr’s subscriptions
  • Conducting proactive outreach to outbound target accounts and cold leads
  • Maintaining records of prospect engagement and good CRM hygiene (via Hubspot)
  • Preparing and sending contracts to close deals
  • Answer questions from prospective clients and providing support up to and during onboarding with Client Success

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of sales experience preferred (SaaS Sales/Sales Development required, ideally eCommerce related)
  • Ability to work independently and drive to hit performance goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Proficiency in influencing, presenting effective business proposals and guiding decision-making
  • Tenacity and determination to overcome objections, learn from setbacks and achieve goals in a competitive environment
