Everbridge is hiring a full-time QA Engineer to join the Engineering team responsible for mobile application development for the xMatters product. - Reviewing requirements/user stories to identify and close gaps in Acceptance Criteria
- Creating, managing, and executing test cases based on user stories
- Recording test results
- Organizing testing tasks based on team priorities and ensuring that testing activities are completed as required
- Liaising with an external test partner for release regression testing
- Working with the rest of the team to improve our automated testing capabilities
- Provisioning and maintaining test environments
- A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years software testing experience
- Experience of Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM
- Use of issue/project tracking tools (e.g. Jira)
- Genuine interest in continuously improving the team’s ability to test our product
- Experience of testing mobile Apps on Android and/or iOS is highly desirable
- Experience of test management tools (e.g. TestRail, Zephyr)
- Experience integrating automated tests in a CI/CD pipeline (e.g. Jenkins)
- Experience of a high-level language (e.g. Groovy, Swift, Kotlin, Java)
- Experience designing, creating and executing automated test scripts
- Experience testing in cloud environment (e.g. Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS)
