About the Role
We are seeking a Videographer / Video Editor for a American multinational professional services and information technology company.
Duties,
- The Videographer/Video Editor will work with creative teams to conceptualize, plan, visualize, design, shoot, and edit multimedia productions.
- They will manage technical resources and provide technical and creative support for these productions.
- The role involves working directly with clients and production teams to complete on-location and studio productions.
- Sometimes the videographer/video editor will work with other creative professionals on larger projects, but often they will work individually on productions that range from one day to several months.
- Strong attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and effective communication skills are important for this position.
- The role requires creating necessary elements to tell stories and communicate messages effectively.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Communications
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- 5+ years of experience as a multimedia production specialist
- Creative visual eye
- Technical expertise in camera and video technology
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud suite of audio/video production tools
- Ability to craft a story from audio/visual elements and assets
- Demonstrated proficiency with multi-track video and audio editing
- Basic animation program skills
- The ability to light and record an interview with a video camera/DSLR
- Regular practice in prepping for, managing, and conducting field and studio interviews
- An eye for modern production trends and practices
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong creative skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Pro-active communicator and problem-solver
- Ability to work well as part of a team and effectively participate as a contributor and leader depending on the situation
