Hire Resolve's client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join their team in Austin, TX. In this role, the successful candidate will be an integral part of our client's tax team, supporting tax compliance, research, and reporting activities.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing clients' corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns
- Assisting clients with tax planning and compliance strategies
- Conducting research on tax laws and regulations
- Providing clients with guidance on tax implications of business decisions
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients
- Communicating with clients regarding tax issues and solutions in an effective and timely manner
- Assisting with tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Master's degree in Taxation or CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or tax
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
