Hire Resolve's client in Philadelphia PA is looking for a Tax Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for the financial industry and is looking for new challenges. As a Tax Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance, audits, and provisions. The Tax Manager must have a deep understanding of tax law and regulations, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage tax compliance, audits, and provisions
- Ensure the accuracy of tax returns and related financial statements
- Undertake research on tax legislation and other requirements to ensure compliance
- Provide technical guidance to colleagues in other departments in regards to tax implications of their work
- Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and proactively communicate potential impacts to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 7 years of experience in a tax accounting role
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience managing and leading a team
- CPA License
