ABOUT THE ROLE

We are actively seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our esteemed sales team at PatientIQ. Reporting directly to our VP of Sales, this role involves close collaboration with our dedicated Account Executives/Field Sales team members and Customer Success team. Your primary objective will be to enhance annual contract value through strategic upselling and subscription renewals, all while consistently surpassing quarterly and annual targets within assigned accounts.

This is a newly established position on a team that is set to expand throughout 2024. In this role, you will be responsible for fortifying our renewal process and overseeing a portfolio of highly strategic named accounts with substantial growth potential. The ideal candidate for this role is a high-performing individual contributor who desires future leadership opportunities.

**This is a hybrid role and will require an in-office presence at PatientIQ's Chicago headquarters. You must be within commuting distance of this office location.**

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively contribute to sales growth by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and add-on sales to address customer challenges.
  • Proactively engage customers to secure subscription renewals, maximizing revenue and ensuring exceptional retention rates.
  • Manage end-to-end renewal process in collaboration with Sales and Customer Success, achieving renewal rate targets for all accounts and fostering revenue growth in named accounts.
  • Interpret existing contracts to formulate strategies and pricing structures for renewals and upselling opportunities.
  • Manage quoting, pricing negotiations, objections, and identify specific customer needs for tailored solutions.
  • Promptly respond to inquiries, coordinating with various teams to efficiently address customer requirements.
  • Leverage CRM (HubSpot) for documenting opportunities and forecasting sales performance.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all PatientIQ products.

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of successful Healthcare sales experience in a technology or software environment.
  • Experience interpreting, drafting, and negotiating contract renewals.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and oral).
  • Proficient in sales processes and diverse methodologies.
  • Driven to exceed quotas and remain committed to personal growth.
  • Leadership experience is preferred.
  • Embraces adaptability, attention to detail, and continuous learning.
  • Demonstrates entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and strategic sales execution.
