Success in the Role: What are performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

In the first 30 days, you will:

  • Participate in EvolvED, our new hire orientation program
  • Become embedded with the current People team, familiarizing yourself with roles and processes
  • Develop a deep understanding of Evolv’s mission, understand our product, services, and values
  • Come up to speed with the business
  • Develop a regular cadence for meeting with and advising various teams within the company.

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Immerse yourself in the company's culture by interacting with employees at all levels, understanding their perspectives, and assessing the overall work environment. This will help in tailoring HR strategies that align with the company's culture and values.
  • Evaluate existing HR policies, procedures, and systems to identify areas for improvement or updates needed to meet current organizational goals and legal compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leadership, department heads, and key stakeholders. This is crucial for understanding various departmental needs and for effective future collaboration.
  • Review workforce analytics to understand demographics, turnover rates, employee satisfaction levels, etc. This data will inform strategies for talent management, retention, and recruitment.
  • Based on the understanding gained, start formulating a strategic HR plan that aligns with the company's business objectives. This may include workforce planning, talent management strategies, employee relations, compensation design, organizational design, and employee engagement initiatives.

By the end of the first year, you will have:

  • Improved employee satisfaction and engagement levels
  • Successfully implemented talent acquisition and retention strategies
  • Enhanced organizational performance through effective performance management processes
  • Ensured compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Developed a comprehensive compensation plan design that aligns with our compensation philosophy and business objectives

  • Handle complex employee relations issues with a blend of fairness and diplomatic skill.
  • Implement strategies focused on boosting employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts effectively and impartially.

Leadership Excellence, Communication amp; Influence

  • Excel in forging and nurturing robust relationships with both internal and external partners.
