Ultrasound Tech Needed in North Carolina

Seasoned Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technician to join our team in North Carolina. In this role, you will perform ultrasound exams to assist with patient diagnosis and treatment. You will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment, preparing patients for the exam, and providing accurate and high-quality images for interpretation by physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages and maintain the highest standard of patient care
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of the designated body parts and areas
• Prepare patients for the exam by explaining the procedure and answering any questions they may have
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during the exam
• Observe and analyze ultrasound images for quality and accuracy
• Provide accurate and detailed reports on exam findings to the interpreting physician
• Maintain patient records and ensure data integrity
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required through American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days of hire

• ARRT registry in Ultrasonography required or ARDMS registered

• One year of imaging experience preferred.
