The FPamp;A Analyst will assist with providing accurate, timely and actionable business insights while helping to build a data-driven and analytical culture within the company. They will interact with all departments and levels of the organization and participate in various meetings, projects and training that look to optimize forecasting, planning and tracking processes, standardize reporting, and provide actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
As the Financial Planning Analyst, you will:
- Partner with project and corporate FPamp;A stakeholders in preparation of weekly and monthly financial packages, dashboards and reporting of key performance metrics
- Analyze internal and external data to derive business insights that can improve outcomes
- Assist in the standardization of reporting, KPI’s, and data structures
- Ensure data integrity of the financial reporting systems and forecasting tools
- Facilitate data gathering for new analytical or systems initiatives
- Assist in various ad hoc projects as they arise, including changes to sourcing/supply chain, new sales channels, menu innovation, and promotional efficacy
- Work with partners to continually improve processes and reduce non-value add activities
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related quantitative field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting and / or accounting, multi-unit experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including experience creating and analyzing advanced Excel models
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
- Strong problem solving and mathematical skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior work in the Hospitality, Retail, and/or Manufacturing Industry
- Experienced with using and deploying Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc.)
- Experience with Budgeting Software such as Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights), Infor, and / or Hyperion
