What You’ll Be Doing:

Amogy is looking for an IT intern to support our Information Technology team. As an IT Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of Information Technology. You will work closely with our IT team to support various IT functions and assist in a wide range of tasks, including technical support, infrastructure projects, AV setups, and global office support. The internship will be 30 hours part-time. The duration of the internship is February April.

  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues.
  • Assist in managing Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems, such as Jamf and Intune.
  • Help users with troubleshooting and configuring their devices
  • Utilize Jira Helpdesk to track and manage IT support requests and incidents.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to resolve and escalate tickets as needed.
  • Assist in infrastructure projects, including the construction of our HTX manufacturing center.
  • Help with the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure such as routers, switches, firewalls, and card readers.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining audio-visual (AV) equipment and systems for meetings and presentations.
  • Participate in the onboarding process for new users, ensuring they have the necessary IT resources and access.
  • Provide remote assistance to our offices across the globe (New York, Houston, Norway, and Singapore).

Requirements

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • B.S. Candidate in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with access management solutions such as Duo, Okta, Azure, etc.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems like Jamf and Intune is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 per hour. The salary pay range is applicable to positions physically based in Houston from February to the end of April 2024. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, job experience and physical location.
