Hire Resolve's client is urgently seeking a Senior Program Manager - Site Investigation amp; Remediation to join their team in Butler, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Manage site investigation and remediation practice group in the New Jersey
- Support and provide leadership to the technical execution of site investigation and remediation projects in New Jersey, as well as out-of-state projects supported by satellite offices
- Manage performance of direct reports
- Develop, motivate, and mentor staff
- Develop and support the pursuit of project opportunities with private, public, and government clients
- Leverage existing client relationships to increase new business for the firm
- Lead development and implementation of marketing strategy for site investigation and remediation group
- Oversee and ensure management of complex site investigation and site remediation projects
- Provide senior level oversight of environmental site assessments leading to remediation design
- Provide senior level engineering expertise in the development of various remedial strategies including but not limited to in-situ chemical oxidation, enhanced bioaugmentation as well as traditional remedial technologies
- Provide quality oversight for documents, deliverables, and overall project performance for the group
- Communicate with clients and counsel
- Ensure successful execution of all phases of project work to meet the client’s objectives, company goals, revenue generation, and profitability
Requirements
- Advanced degree in environmental engineering, science, geology, hydrogeology, or related field
- New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) certification required
- Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) certifications preferred
- Must be able to clear a federal government background investigation
- Minimum 10 years of project management, client interaction, and business development
- Minimum 10 years of successful experience performing environmental consulting remediation projects assignments; a minimum of 5 years leading environmental consulting initiatives for private sector and governmental clients in New Jersey and New York. Project experience in Pennsylvania preferred
- Proven track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies to identify, pursue, and bring in new work
- Project management or program management experience with large site investigations and site remediation projects
- Experience conducting environmental due diligence in accordance with ASTM E1527-21, Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments
- In depth experience in designing and executing subsurface investigations and remediation projects, including soil, groundwater and vapor intrusion.
- Design experience in the development of in-situ chemical oxidation systems.
- Experience with designing and implementing enhanced bio-remediation systems
- Proven track record of providing leadership, managing teams, and developing and retaining staff engineers and scientists
- Experience in applying creative solutions to complex challenges
- Experience with private, industrial, and government clients
- Team player with a high degree of self-motivation
- Strong communications, report and proposal writing, and management skills
