Job Description
We are hiring for a full time Acupuncturist for an integrated Physical Therapy, Chiropractic and Acupuncture Center located in Matawan, NJ.
Schedule is full time and flexible. M to F.
Salary is $90,000-$110,000 per year with full benefits.
You will work primarily with patients who have:
-lower back pain
-knee pain
-shoulder pain
-elbow pain
-neck pain
- Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans
- Administer acupuncture treatments to patients using sterile needles and aseptic technique
- Provide acute pain management and pain relief through acupuncture techniques
- Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Conduct physical examinations to assess patients' overall health and identify areas of concern
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in acupuncture and pain management
- Valid license to practice acupuncture in the state of New Jersey
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an acupuncturist
-Doctorate or Masters Degree in Acupuncture
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent patient care and customer service skills
- Ability to perform physical examinations and assess patient conditions
- Comfortable working in a behavioral health settings
- Knowledge of acute pain management techniques is a plus
