Based on our significant scientific expertise and our large diagnostics business, we have identified that there is a large potential disruption to bring into the market a new brand of vitamins and dietary supplements, which is truly backed by science and an amazing customer experience. This is a new business unit within Prenetics and we believe we are well positioned to be a major player in this field in the next few years.

As the US Market General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing our business strategy in the US, with a specific focus on the vitamins and nutritional supplements market. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our brand presence, developing effective marketing campaigns, managing e-commerce operations, and driving overall business performance. This is a senior leadership position that requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, strong consumer brand marketing expertise, exceptional knowledge of the dietary supplements industry globally and in the US specifically, strong commercial sense and logic, data driven, and a deep understanding of the e-commerce and retail landscape of the US consumer market. You will be reporting directly to the Consumer Healthcare MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Build our new venture from scratch with an entrepreneurial mindset, from hiring, setting up operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, overseeing logistics and fulfillment, achieving key commercial milestones and business objectives.
  • Develop and implement the overall business strategy for the US market, with a specific focus on the vitamins and nutritional supplements sector, aligning it with the company's objectives and ensuring its successful execution.
  • Hire, lead and inspire a team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including strategic partners, distributors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities in the US market.
  • Drive brand awareness and visibility in the US market through innovative marketing campaigns, leveraging various channels and platforms to promote our vitamins and nutritional supplements.
  • Drive exceptional PR and media campaigns, leveraging key partnerships within the market as part of a holistic marketing strategy.
  • Build an exceptional digital customer and brand experience for the US consumer and market.
  • Develop and execute consumer-focused marketing strategies to enhance brand positioning, increase customer engagement, and drive profitable growth for our vitamin products.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of e-commerce operations, including online marketplace management, digital marketing, and customer acquisition and retention strategies for our vitamin products.
  • Source and close key partnerships with retailers to ensure a full omni-channel distribution network.
  • Oversee the execution of our channel partnership strategy with healthcare professionals, coaches, trainers, dieticians, nutritionists and other strategic partnerships in the health amp; wellness space.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities in the vitamins and nutritional supplements market in the US, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as product development, supply chain, and sales, to ensure the successful launch and promotion of new vitamin products in the US market.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics, specifically related to the vitamins and nutritional supplements industry, and proactively adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
