Job Description

Trayt is looking for a Quality Automation Engineer to ensure the highest quality of our software products through both automated and manual testing practices. In this versatile role, you'll leverage your experience in test automation, utilizing JavaScript and other relevant technologies, to improve our QA processes. Your expertise in various types of testing, including performance, load, security, API, mobile, and cross-browser testing, will be vital to our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain Automated Tests: Create and update automated test scripts, focusing on JavaScript-based technologies, to ensure high-quality software products.
  • Engage in Diverse Testing Practices: Perform a variety of testing types to cover all aspects of software quality, including performance, load, security, API, mobile, and cross-browser testing.
  • Implement Exploratory and Manual Testing: Apply principles of exploratory testing and efficiently transition manual regression tests to automated processes.
  • Operate in an Agile Environment: Effectively work within Agile frameworks, adapting to various project methodologies and release schedules.
  • Drive Quality Improvements: Actively advocate for and implement improvements in testing processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with development, product management, and other teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Requirements

Desired skills and expertise

  • Experienced in QA: You bring 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Technically Proficient: Your proficiency and adaptability to modern test automation frameworks set you apart. You’re open to learning and mastering new technologies as required.
  • Versatile in Testing: You have a broad understanding of various testing types, including performance, load, security, API, mobile, and cross-browser testing.
  • Agile and Adaptive: You’re familiar with Agile methodologies and thrive in both CI/CD and scheduled release environments.
  • A Team Collaborator: Your excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams ensure successful project outcomes.
  • A Continuous Learner: You’re committed to staying informed of the latest trends and technologies in testing to continually enhance our QA practices.

Salary Range:

$110,000 - 150,000
