Making A Difference Foundation, a nonprofit organization that empowers communities to make positive changes, is seeking a talented fund development manager. This individual will collaborate with our team to raise funds to support our mission. The ideal candidate should be an experienced leader with excellent communication and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to set fundraising goals and objectives
- Plan and execute fundraising events such as auctions, galas, and charity runs to meet fundraising targets
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors
- Develop and maintain fundraising strategies to expand donor base and increase donations
- Oversee the development and distribution of fundraising materials such as letters, brochures, and newsletters
- Monitor and analyze fundraising performance and recommend strategies and tactics to improve results
- Manage a team of fundraising professionals and volunteers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, event planning, and donor relations
- Demonstrated success in managing and exceeding fundraising goals
- Knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques, and methods
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and manage multiple priorities.
