As a Financial Analyst at Snap-Tite Hose, you will play a vital role in providing financial insights and recommendations to drive business performance and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP

Process incoming accounts payable invoices and prepare weekly payment reports; resolve discrepancies with vendors.

Analyze price variances for quarterly standard cost revisions

Responsible for accounts receivable collection to ensure timely receipt of cash from customers and resolve disputes

Lead quarterly and year-end physical inventories

Support the Controller in preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts

Maintain capital expenditure and fixed asset records

Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports and KPIs for management

Support the accounting team in maintaining accurate and timely records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory. Provides backup to other accounting functions

Work with external auditors to ensure that the necessary procedures are performed and all financial statements and reporting are accurate.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, required

5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance roles in a manufacturing environment, required

Standard cost knowledge

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, experience with SAP or Dynamics GP a plus.

Advanced Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables
