This is a fully and permanently remote work from home opportunity with a growing and stable company available in select states across the US: AZ, FL, GA, ID, KS, LA, MI, MN, NC, NE, TX, UT, VA

The wage for this position is $21.64 - $24.04/hr or $45,011 - $50,003 annually. This role offers variable earnings making total On-Target-Earnings (OTE) $52,000 - $57,000 upon successfully hitting assigned targets.

The Role

Guidant financial is currently looking for a remote Loan Packaging Specialist. This role guides and educates entrepreneurs throughout the Small Business Administration (SBA) loan documentation process to facilitate SBA financing through one of Guidant’s many lending partners. This includes timely and accurate inventory and review of all loan documents required as well as providing feedback and support to clients. As part of the sales team, this role works to support sales, prospective clients, and partners with the coordination of options for funding a business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist clients in qualifying and accessing alternate forms of financing outside of 401k Rollovers which include, but are not limited to SBA Loans, Unsecured Loans, Portfolio Loans, Equipment Loans, etc.
  • Collect, review, and analyze client documentation to prepare complete loan packages
  • Communicate document status to clients via phone and email updates
  • Ensure all documentation is accounted for and properly completed/signed
  • Collaborate with Loan Consultants to manage a pipeline of SBA clients in various stages of their funding process
  • Facilitate review calls with clients to confirm qualification
  • Assist with active sales pipeline:
    • Communicate with all parties involved to provide updates on funding status
    • Support as a subject matter expect

· Provide insights, metrics, and other business-related data regarding pipeline performance

  • Performs general clerical/administrative duties

Additional Functions

  • Assist Loan Consultants with managing an active pipeline of entrepreneurs seeking debt financing options
  • Assist Loan Consultants with analyzing loan package and client qualification to consult on financing eligibility
  • Cover initial client qualification calls from time to time to gain experience presenting and qualifying
  • Performs other duties as required

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • BS/BA in Business Administration or related major preferred or equivalent experience
  • 2 3 years of experience in an administrative or document processing function required
  • Previous experience working within a sales department or processing loan applications preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal skills required
  • Proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines and handle large volumes of administrative work.

· Able to understand complex processes and translate them into layman terms

  • Attention to detail and accuracy a MUST!
  • Process oriented
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on multiple tasks required
  • High working knowledge of computer literacy with command of all core Microsoft Office applications required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity of financial statements preferred (including but not limited to: Pamp;L, pro forma, tax returns)
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar customer relationship management software preferred
  • Ability to work in an autonomous environment where you can be a self-directed, independent worker
