CAD Designer or Mechanical Engineering

The CAD Designer/Mechanical Engineering primary task in this role is to create clear, complete and accurate detail drawings from project specifications by performing the following duties:

• Makes detailed models based on job specifications.
• Ensures uniformity of design standards within dimensions, scaling text and proper computer assisted drafting (CAD) operations.
• Makes adjustments or changes as desired by the customer or Project Manager

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Engineering Physics, Industrial Technology or 5+ years hand on work experience.
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must have 5 years of SolidWorks experience.
• Willing to work overtime, as needed.
• Will need to come on-site for 50% of the time for the first 2-4 months for training.
• Would come on-site a few times a year for meetings and/or events.
