Role Summary:

In this role, you’ll be tasked with performing essential duties of Iontra’s Supply Chain team with special focus on the Blink powerbank project. You will be responsible for sourcing the qualified vendor(s) that meets Iontra’s technical requirements as well as business requirements such as capacity, pricing and quality. Responsibilities include driving price negotiations upfront before vendor selection through effective benchmarking of BOM costs and multiple bids. You will be required to collaborate with Sales amp; Marketing team as well as Engineering team to clearly understand and drive the requirements for effective implementation through the vendors. You will be required to drive alignment on mutual expectations amp; requirements from both Iontra and the vendors by setting up effective communication channels at regular cadence with a clear path for escalation as needed. You will be responsible to build relationships at the executive management level of the vendors. Responsibilities include setting effective timelines for project planning and management to enable time to market.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Vendor sourcing amp; selection
  • Effective program management of deliverables
  • Time to market through effective execution amp; risk mitigation
  • Benchmarking of the ecosystem driving standard of excellence
  • Effective supplier management

Requirements

You’ll Need These Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering preferably in Operations or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience managing suppliers, preferably CMs (Contract Manufacturers)
  • Experience launching new products through effective supplier management (QBRs, QMRs)
  • Experience in managing high volume products
  • Proven results in price negotiations, capacity management , driving 1st time quality and technology roadmap alignment with vendors.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Management experience in Contract Manufacturing ( CMs such as Foxconn, Jabil, Sanmina, Benchmark or Flextronics etc) would be highly desirable.
  • Experience in launching a new product and ramping successfully in the market

Salary Range: $125k-$150k (salary is based on education, experience, skillset, and market value).
