Job Description

TechOp Solutions, a leading provider of innovative solutions to the Federal, state, and local agencies is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team! As a Senior Product Manager, you will translate ideas into strategy and features, and follow product development from start to finish. Candidates should have familiarity and experience working with IT projects and programs.

Senior Product Manager responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with internal program leadership to work on product requirements.
  • Conducting customer research and market assessments
  • Developing product strategy and roadmap
  • Overseeing product design and development
  • Managing product life cycle and resources
  • Communicating and coordinating with teams and stakeholders
  • Assisting in testing, troubleshooting and problem-solving with products impacting the stakeholders’ requirements.
  • Responsible for multiple features of a product, and potentially an overall product.
  • Understand and create Product briefs and work with clients to fine-tune them.
  • Ensure Product development is on track and adjust schedules as required.
  • Work with various design teams to produce and test Product prototypes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and creative teams.
  • Obtain feedback from clients, designers, and engineers, and adjust Product specifications as needed.
  • Communicate with stakeholders during the Product life cycle.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience guiding the development and execution of product management activities and facilitates integration with stakeholder engagement, communications and training personnel, or a MA/MS degree.

Skills:

  • Proficient in communication, change management and mobilizing and engaging stakeholders
  • Extensive experience coordinating internal communications and tasks with stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to translate technical requirements into common, practical language.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills to promote the adoption of new tools. Must be able to engage audiences across remote environments.
  • Experience developing and implementing communication strategies.
  • Experience working with government agencies and stakeholders.
